Convenient connection of non-earthed appliances

The Akyga® AK-OT-06S power cable is fitted with a CEE 7/17 plug and exposed wires designed for direct installation in the appliance. It can be used to replace a damaged cable in power supplies, power tools, lighting and other AC-powered equipment. The 5 m length makes it easier to work away from a socket and allows the cable to be routed conveniently at a service or workshop workstation.

This model does not have a protective earth conductor. It is intended for Class II appliances, which, thanks to their double or reinforced insulation, do not require earthing.

Rubber-sheathed cable, 2×1.5 mm²

The cable consists of two copper conductors with a cross-section of 1.5 mm². The rubber insulation enhances its flexibility and resistance to damage caused by frequent moving, coiling and uncoiling. As a result, the cable performs well during servicing work and in workshop conditions.

The CEE 7/17 plug is rated for currents up to 16 A at 250 V AC. It fits popular type E and F sockets, used in countries such as Poland, Germany and France. However, it does not have protective contacts, so the cable must not be used with equipment that requires earthing.

Open ends for direct installation

The exposed wires allow the connection method to be adapted to the design of the device being repaired. They can be fitted into a suitable terminal block, screw terminal or other secure connection point. Installation should be carried out with the power disconnected by a person with electrical engineering knowledge.
