Professional power cable with IEC C13 plug
The Akyga® AK-PC-106A is a computer power cable designed to provide a stable connection between your equipment and a 230 V mains socket. The 3 m cable length facilitates workplace organisation and allows you to safely supply power to a desktop computer, UPS, monitor or other electronic devices with an IEC C13 connector.
The cable is fitted with a C/E/F standard hybrid plug (CEE 7/7) and an IEC C13 connector. This type of connector is commonly used in computers, audio-visual equipment, servers and many office devices.
The AK-PC-106A cable is ideal for offices, laboratories, service centres, home offices and spaces where standard power cables do not provide sufficient flexibility. The length of the power cable should correspond to the distance from the socket, which is why the 3-metre cable reduces the need for additional solutions such as extension leads or adapters.
The C13 power cable complies with the IEC 60320 standard. In practice, this means broad compatibility with computers, UPS units, monitors, printers, servers and other equipment fitted with the appropriate connectors.
Why the Akyga AK-PC-106A cable is the best choice
With an exceptional length of 3 metres, the cable allows you to position your computer, monitor, UPS or printer flexibly, regardless of where the power source is located. This is important in offices, laboratories, server rooms and gaming setups, where equipment is often placed further away from the power socket.
- CEE 7/7 hybrid plug – the Schuko plug in the C/E/F standard ensures compatibility with popular European E and F-type installations. This makes the cable practical for home, business and technical users.
- Cable with a cross-section of 3 × 0.75 mm² – the recommended cross-section for office computers is 3 × 0.75 mm², which is why the AK-PC-106A cable is well suited to the typical needs of office equipment and desktop computers. However, for very powerful setups, it is important to remember that the cross-section for gaming computers should be 3 × 1.0 mm².
- Akyga® certified safety – Safety standards reduce the risk of electrical faults, equipment damage and overheating.
How to choose the right power cable for a computer?
When selecting a cable, start by checking what type of connector the device has. In desktop computers, the IEC C13 connector is most commonly used on the cable side and the IEC C14 socket on the power supply side. C13 connectors are widely used in computers and audio-visual equipment, so the Akyga AK-PC-106A cable will be the right choice for many PC sets, UPSs, monitors and office equipment.
Voltage and current requirements are also important. The C13 connector supports currents up to 10 A and 250 V. If the device draws a higher current or operates at elevated temperatures, you must select a cable with the appropriate specifications, and sometimes choose a different connector. The power cable should have the correct AWG gauge and appropriate conductor cross-section to minimise voltage drops and overheating.
