The Akyga® AK-CA-76 adapter is used to convert the motherboard power connector on Lenovo IdeaCentre computers. This is an extremely useful accessory in case the original power supply breaks down and we need to replace it with a new one. With the adapter, we can connect a standard ATX power supply with a 24-pin connector to a motherboard equipped with a 10-pin socket. Furthermore, the adapter is 10 cm long, so that it will not affect the mounting comfort of the PSU inside the case.
Note: Due to the special design of Lenovo IdeaCentre computers, the power supply connected with the adapter will continue to operate even when the computer is switched off. The power supply will only turn off when the power cable is unplugged or the electrical outlet is switched off, causing the fan to stop.
