Akyga® AKY2831 is a ready-to-use Li-Ion battery pack in a 1S1P configuration. It contains an INR18650-32M cell with a capacity of 3200 mAh and a rated voltage of 3.6 V. The pack features PCM protection and leads terminated with a Cvilux CP-01102010 connector, so it requires no soldering or battery cage. This simplifies installation and maintenance.

The 18650 battery utilises Li-Ion technology, which ensures high energy density and stable operating parameters.

1S1P configuration – a single cell in a ready-made pack

The 1S1P designation indicates that the battery pack consists of a single cell with no additional series or parallel connections. The pack’s specifications therefore correspond to those of the battery: 3.6 V and 3200 mAh. This type of pack is designed for devices such as sensors, controllers, LED lighting and portable equipment.

PCM protection for safe operation

The AKY2831 pack features an integrated PCM (Protection Circuit Module) which monitors key cell operating parameters. This protection safeguards against overcharging, deep discharge, current overload and short circuits. Battery cells must be managed by systems that monitor their status – in this case, the PCM fulfils this function by cutting off the circuit in the event of a hazard. Safety in use is significantly higher than with cells sold without protection. Unsuitable conditions can pose a risk of thermal runaway in batteries, which is why the presence of a PCM is essential.

Ready-to-use Li-Ion pack with leads

The battery is fitted with 175 mm leads, terminated with a Cvilux 2- connector. This solution eliminates the need for soldering – simply connect the connector to the device. Before installation, compare its specifications with those of the original battery, including the connector type and polarity (marked A and B). Reversing the connection may damage the PCM or the cell itself.
