High-performance Li-Ion battery for portable devices
The Akyga® AKY2833 Li-Ion battery pack consists of three INR18650 cells connected in parallel. The 1S3P configuration maintains a nominal voltage of 3.6 V whilst delivering a total capacity of 9,600 mAh. This battery ensures a long operating time and is ideal for devices that require low voltage and a reliable power source.
What does the 1S3P configuration mean?
The designation 1S3P means three cells connected in parallel within a single section. The capacities of the cells add up, whilst the voltage remains the same as that of a single cell. The advantage of this configuration is high current output and stable voltage. A 1S3P battery pack is the ideal solution for a variety of equipment. Torches, IoT devices and selected electronic models can benefit from a battery with such a high capacity. Similar batteries are often used in portable equipment.
Battery with PCM protection
The battery features a PCM (Protection Circuit Module), i.e. a circuit board with protective electronics. This protects the battery pack against overcharging, excessive deep discharge, overloading and short circuits. This enhances safety and helps preserve the service life of the cells. The battery must only be charged using a charger designed for Li-Ion packs with a cut-off voltage of 4.2 V. The charging parameters must comply with the specifications. The PCM circuit does not replace a suitable charger.
Cvilux cable and connector
The battery pack has a 175 mm cable terminated with a 2-pin Cvilux CP-01102010 connector. This facilitates battery installation without the need for soldering wires. Before purchasing, check that the polarity, connector type and dimensions of the pack match the device’s requirements. A compatible connector alone does not guarantee that the battery will function correctly.
Li-Ion battery pack
Li-Ion cells have high energy density, low self-discharge rates and offer good performance. They are also thermally stable under normal operating conditions. Temperature, charging and discharging currents, and storage conditions all affect the safety and longevity of the product. The pack has a wide range of applications, but it must always be selected to suit the device, used in accordance with the instructions, and protected from damage.
